The classical literature of 'ihn al-rijāl is very rich in "technical" terms that allow us to clarify the relationship between 'Alī-Riḍā and his disciples. Of these sources, Kashshī's Rijāl bequeaths to us some ahādḥīth, concerning the closest disciples to imam al-Riḍā, that I will read through the lens of nostalgia.
