Description: Pennsylvania Legacies is the Historical Society of Pennsylvania's (HSP) semi-annual, illustrated history magazine, published since 2001. Legacies explores a variety of topics in Pennsylvania history for the curious reader, including teachers, students, history enthusiasts, and scholars. Each issue is developed around a single topic in Pennsylvania history. Aimed at the lay public, Legacies is also an important resource for teachers. Each issue includes related lesson plans, primary sources, and tips for using the articles in the classroom. Legacies is available as a benefit of membership in HSP and also as a separate subscription.
The "moving wall" represents the time period between the last issue
available in JSTOR and the most recently published issue of a journal.
Moving walls are generally represented in years. In rare instances, a
publisher has elected to have a "zero" moving wall, so their current
issues are available in JSTOR shortly after publication.
Note: In calculating the moving wall, the current year is not counted.
For example, if the current year is 2008 and a journal has a 5 year
moving wall, articles from the year 2002 are available.
