Perspectives of New Music is an international professional journal. It is an independent journal, incorporated as a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation, published continuously since 1962. We publish two, 250-page issues per year.
PNM is directed to a readership consisting of composers, performers, scholars, and all others interested in any kind of contemporary music. Published material includes theoretical research, analyses, technical reports, position papers by composers, sociological and philosophical articles, interviews, reviews, and, for special purposes, short musical scores or other creative productions.

MOVING WALL
The "moving wall" represents the time period between the last issue available in JSTOR and the most recently published issue of a journal.
Moving walls are generally represented in years.
In calculating the moving wall, the current year is not counted.
For example, if the current year is 2008 and a journal has a 5 year moving wall, articles from the year 2002 are available.
