The American Society of Irish Medieval Studies seeks to develop Irish medieval studies as an academic discipline within the United States. Members of the Society conduct research in history, archaeology, literature, theology, art history, and linguistics. The Society conducts an annual meeting at the International Congress of Medievalists at Kalamazoo, Michigan.
