The Decorative Arts Society 1850 to the Present Publisher Description
The Decorative Arts Society, Inc. is a not-for-profit New York corporation founded in 1990 to encourage interest in, appreciation of and exchange of information about the decorative arts. To pursue its purposes, the Society sponsors meetings, programs, seminar and a newsletter on the decorative arts, as well as an awards program to recognize scholarship in the field. Its supporters include museum curators, academics, collectors and dealers.
