Founded in 1921 in Berlin, the Deutscher Kunstverlag has become an important publisher for academic as well as popular art books with offices in Munich and Berlin. The programme focuses in particular on art history, architecture and the preservation of historic buildings. Publications include a number of academic series, annuals and journals, Georg Dehioâs âHandbuch der Deutschen Kunstdenkmalerâ and Schinkelâs life work as well as a large number of museum and art guides and exhibition catalogues.
