Economic History Society Publisher Description

Founded in 1926, the Economic History Society (EHS) seeks to promote the study of economic and social history of all periods and countries. The

Society has more than 1500 individual members located on all continents. The Society's The Economic History Review and its other publications are aimed at a world-wide audience, and the EHS takes a very active role in the International Economic History Association. The Society is also much concerned with the vitality of the subject in the schools, colleges and universities of the UK, where the EHS is based. In addition to more specialised meetings, the Society runs an annual conference in April with sessions for new as well as established researchers.
