The Educational Research Centre was established on the campus of St Patrick’s College, Dublin in January, 1966. The setting up of the Centre was a means of widening the scope of, and making for greater continuity in, research efforts in Ireland. The Centre works at all levels of the education system, from pre-school to third level.
