Accounting Research Center, Booth School of Business, University of Chicago Publisher Description

The Accounting Research Center (ARC) coordinates the accounting curriculum activities in the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. All accounting faculty members and students participate in the Institute's activities. The faculty develop a curriculum integrating various fields of knowledge combining accounting and management. The ARC sponsors the Workshop in Accounting Research, a forum for critical appraisal of the research proposals and research interests of faculty and doctoral candidates as well as visiting scholars. The ARC publishes the Journal of Accounting Research and sponsors an annual research conference. The ARC also provides financial assistance to University of Chicago doctoral students in accounting.
