Dr. Rudolf Habelt Ltd. was founded in 1948 as an antiquarian bookshop. The publishing house is specialised on (mainly academic) publications treating with archaeology, prehistory, ancient history and related themes. Some 30 titles are produced annually. It also distributes the publications of several scientific organisations on a commission basis.
