The International Studies Association Publisher Description

The International Studies Association is the largest of its kind in the world, including in excess of 3,200 members from 61 different countries, and with a membership that represents virtually all the major universities in the world. The Association, presently headquartered at the University of Connecticut, was founded in 1959 and it vigorously promotes research and education about international affairs. Its activities include annual and international conferences, three journals, and numerous other activities to facilitate research and collaboration among its members and with other associations around the world. ISA is a member of the International Social Science Council, and has nongovernmental consultative status with the United Nations.
