Founded in 1992, Library of American Landscape History is the leading publisher of books that advance the study and practice of American landscape architecture—from gardens and parks to city plans. Through books, exhibitions, and films, LALH educates wide audiences in important ideas about landscape history and preservation, motivating stewardship of significant places and inspiring new designs that connect people with nature. LALH members receive VIEW, the only magazine devoted exclusively to North American landscape architecture.
