Mujeres Activas en Letras y Cambio Social (MALCS) Publisher Description
MALCS is a national organization of Chicanas/Latinas and Native American women working in academia and in community settings with a common goal: to work toward the support, education and dissemination of Chicana/Latina and Native American women’s issues. Through networking, occasional meetings and our annual Summer Institute, MALCS members share information, offer support, and continue our struggle for social justice.

Though we draw members from all over the country, local active chapters offer additional activities in San Antonio, Austin, Salt Lake City, Davis, Berkeley, and Los Angeles. Recent activities and events are posted at our blog here.
