The Mycological Society of America (MSA) is a scientific society dedicated to advancing the science of mycology - the study of fungi of all kinds including mushrooms, molds, truffles, yeasts, lichens, plant pathogens, and medically important fungi. We have about 1200 members, including professional and amateur mycologists with interests covering the entire range of scientific disciplines in such general categories as ecology-pathology, systematics-evolution, genetics-molecular biology, and physiology. The MSA welcomes new members.
