The Berryman Institute is a national organization named after Jack H. Berryman in honor of his distinguished career in wildlife management. We are dedicated to enhancing human-wildlife relationships by better managing human-wildlife conflicts through research, education, and outreach. Human-wildlife conflicts occur when the presence or activities of wildlife in close proximity to humans may result in negative consequences to humans to include property damage, injury, or health issues. In cooperation with our partners we seek in increase society's understanding of these conflicts and how to better manage them. The Berryman Institute is housed at Utah State University.
