This study concerns the different parts of vegetable and soil water content. During the considerated period, the actual moisture, always very high and near the field capacity, has little importance in comparaison with the phenology stage.
The Society, founded in 1862, is the meeting forum of the Belgian botanists. It promotes research in all fields of plant sciences by organizing meetings and symposia, and by publishing the Belgian Journal of Botany. The Society also proposes excursions to discover Belgium's plant life. The Society owns a large collection of books and periodicals, which have been deposited in the library of the National Botanic Garden of Belgium , and are accessible to the members of the Society.
