Abstract

A new Panamanian species, Selysia bidentata, is described and illustrated, and a key to and a synopsis of Selysia are provided. The new species is closely related to S. smithii, which occurs from Colombia to Peru in the Andes. This species raises the number of species in Selysia to four.
