The J. Paul Getty Museum Journal is a compendium of articles and notes pertaining to the Museum's permanent collections of antiquities, decorative arts, drawings, illuminated manuscripts, paintings, photographs, and sculpture and works of art. Each volume includes an introduction by John Walsh, director emeritus of the Museum, and a fully illustrated checklist of recent acquisitions.
Getty Publications produces a wide variety of books in the fields of art, photography, archaeology, architecture, conservation, and the humanities for both general and specialized audiences. These award-winning publications complement and often result from the work of the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Getty Conservation Institute, and the Getty Research Institute.
